Philip J. Makowski, MD



Dr. Makowski received his Bachelors of Science (BS)degree from Georgetown University in 1970. He was awarded his Medical Doctorate (MD) degree from Cornell University Medical College in 1974. His Internship, in Obstetrics & Gynecology,  was complete at the Nassau County Medical Center in 1975. He completed his specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University Medical Center of Vermont and has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology since 1981. He is a senior attending physician at both St. Charles Hospital & Rehabilitation Center and John T. Mather Memorial Hospital as well as a Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University Hospital of New York at Stony Brook. He is a member of the New York State Medical Society, Suffolk County Medical Society, Suffolk County Society of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the North American Menopausal Society. Dr. Makowski has been in the private practice of Obstetrics& Gynecology since 1979.
